Introduction (AxisStrat)
Hey guys! I’m AxisStrat and for my part in this awesome new blog, I’m goingto be an RTS updater. As an RTS updater I’m going to be looking for awesome new upand coming games that fall into the RTS genre. When I was first exposed to the RTS genre I wasn’t reallyinterested, mainly because I thought that RTS games required me to strategize. Furthermore, at the time all I wanted to dowas enjoy playing a game and not get a headache over it. But once I got my first RTS game (at my cousin’sinsistence) , I was completely drawn into the amazing RTS genre. Incidentally, my first game was the classic ‘Age of Empires’.Admittedly, the graphic s were not too great compared to the RTS games today,but I will always remember my very first addiction to RTS games. Nowadays however, I have been playing the widely acclaimedDoW (Dawn of War) RTS game. The game itself won quite a few awards not too longago. But after I completed the original game, I went on the buy the PLATINUMaddition of DoW, which featured 3 new expansion sets. I won’t deny thatcompleting all the games only made me addicted to DoW even more, and I cansafely say that DoW is my favourite RTSgame of all time. For now at least. The RTS genre that I will be updating is incredibly interestingif you are willing to keep an open mind. That’s it from me for now. But until then , Cya! Labels: intro
