Demon's Souls
Hi PUDDIN here! Today I have quite an “old” game to review for
you avid gamers. So for this post in celebration the release of “Dark Souls”
last year, I would like to review its predecessor “Demon’s Souls”.
Before I go in-depth with the game, here is my own personal
guideline in reviewing.
- §
Storyline
- §
Gameplay

Graphics

Music
- §
Multi-playability
- §
Compatibility
Storyline
The game itself is able to provide a short, and simple introductory
story talking about the game environment it is in. Furthermore objectives are
stated clearly, this is especially good towards mediocre gamers like me. [3.4/5]
Gameplay
*For those who’ve played the game before should know about
this picture.
Anyways what I would like to say is that, this game is
really humane-like. It really implements the human disabilities. First thing
first, if you’ve noticed many other games main character has like an infinite amount
lives to ‘try again’. ‘Human beings having a second chance, to live again as
human?’ I find this statement invalid,
however in Demon Souls they have a very good reason for a character’s infinite
live. Which was to kill the character In human, and then revive its soul back.
Thus, making a undead warrior.
As I’ve said back then, this is very humane.
Gameplay is very simple but it’s so difficult, as it reveals how vulnerable a
person is. Falling from great heights may be the cause of death. Objects like the
wall will interfere when you’re trying to attack. Even though having all these ‘disadvantages’
making the game like ‘hell’ , “but that’s what keep the game interesting, makes
me more determined” quoted from other
players. [4/5]
Music & Graphics
Personally I feel that this game’s main forte is at its
Music and Graphics, as these two aspects really intensifies the gameplay. I’ll just let the video talk. [4.5/5]]
*Please pause our blog’s music player before watching
the videos!
Multi-playability
Yes! This game allows you to play with other players
globally. But this game’s multiplayer mode is made differently from other
games, as you’re not meeting your friends in an area. You are entering his or
her world to aid in quest. And of course there is a PVP (Player Versus Player) feature
in too.
Compatibility
Sadly this game only runs on the PlayStation 3.
In conclusion, my personal
impression of this is very good. If you like adventure RPG I highly recommend you
to get it, even though it’s difficult to play but it’s a challenging game!
And that concludes my
review of “Demon’s Souls”. If you have any feedback on my review or maybe
wanting to point out some key points I’ve missed please feel free to comment
about it. Let me know what other games you want it to be reviewed.
See ya soon!!
