RTS game review (Dawn of War)

Hey guys! It's me AxisStrat again bringing you yet another great RTS game review!

The game that im gonna be talking about today is one
of my All-time favourites! I believe I mentioned it
before in one of my previous posts. That's right! I'm
gonna be reviewing Dawn of War as well as a couple
of expansions from the Dawn of War franchise .Yeah!!

First off, Dawn of War is a great RTS game developed
by THQ(the developer of other awesome games like
Darksiders 2 and Company of Heroes). The Original
Campaign is very beginner friendly and teaches
everybody the basics of the game including resource
gathering and whatnot. This is something that I
approve of in games that have unique features.

Dawn of War is set in the far off 41st millenium. The
Imperium of mankind is in dire straits. The enemies of
the Imperium constantly wage war around the cosmos.
Forget the promises of knowledge during the dark age
of technology. In these troubled times, there is only
WAR!

Features

Squad-based gameplay

This eliminates the need for really complex micro-
management. I really like this aspect of the game as it
gives me more time to admire the landscape of the
map and really enjoy the beautiful graphics of the
game.Although for those hardcore RTS gamers, they
may not like it that much.

Unique campaign maps across different planets

The maps in the game are not just limited to the
campaign. There is also a skirmish mode that players
can use to play again against the computer in any
difficulty they choose.

Unique Heroes and Special units for every army.

Basically every army/race has a unique unit that only
they can produce.

Beautiful 3D graphics

Execution scenes that is unique to every squad

Captivating Storyline

Multiplayer

Players can play with other people via LAN or online.
I myself have enjoyed countless games playing with
my friends using the online multi-player function.
Now here are some screen shots and videos of the
game for you to enjoy!

Well that's it from me for now. Until next time, Cya!
